2018 Fasting and Prayer Program

Offer Thanks to God for the Past, Present and Future

  1. We started this prayer team in March 2017 with an appeal to all friends and family to join us in partnering with us in prayer to start a church planting ministry.

Pray for the Restoration of Jewish People back to God and to accept Yeshua as their HaMashiach

  1. Pray for peace, prosperity, and salvation of the people and city of Jerusalem
  2. Pray for the salvation of the Jewish people and Israel as a nation (14 million) – Read Jeremiah 31
  3. Pray for Jewish Christians and Messianic congregations everywhere to be strong in the Lord and bold in proclaiming the gospel in Jerusalem, Israel and the world.
  4. Pray for the unity of the church – Jews and Gentiles

Pray for the Countries of the World for Revival, Church Multiplication and Salvation of Souls

  1. 54 countries are in Africa

Check your email for the link to the Unreached Peoples page. Pray for each country with established churches mentioning each country by name. Those countries are marked with “N” under unreached – about 158. Pray for revival in those countries and that churches will be holy, loving and producing disciples who plant churches in a multiplying effect.

Pray for the Salvation of the Unreached People-Groups of the World, that Missional Exponential Churches will be Planted Among Them

  1. About 2.91 billion people have little or no access to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  2. About 6,997 people groups (tribal nations) have not been reached with the gospel.

Pray for Each Other and Present Your Petitions to God

  1. Pray for direction and clarification on the revelations ( See 2017 Prayer Report link in your email)
  2. Pray for the blessing and spiritual strengthening of the families of the members of this prayer team (See email for link to contactlist18.png towards bottom of page. For privacy only last names are listed)
  3. Pray for the poor, marginalized and oppressed people of this world and in Northeast Philly that they will hear the gospel, believe and be saved
  4. Pray for the sick, addicted, bound, imprisoned, cancerous, troubled, depressed, suicidal, mentally depressed, mentally challenged, sexually challenged, physically challenged, emotionally challenged, homeless, orphaned and broken marriages in the world, in your country and in Northeast Philly. Pray for their healing, peace with God, fellow human beings and find purpose in life.
  5. Pray for political leaders, church leaders, religious leaders, Jewish Rabbis, family heads, social, education and business leaders of the world, in your country and in Northeast Philly. Pray that all leaders will commit to ethical values, sound judgments, serve and lead with knowledge, truth, love and fear of God.

Pray A Spiritual Warfare Prayer

  1. Take dominion over all spiritual forces in the air, land and sea and bring them under the subjection of Jesus Christ – Genesis 1:28 (see prayer guide in email).
  2. Pull down all strongholds of the enemy – principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness as you pray under each topic – Ephesians 6:12-13 (See prayer guide in email)
  3. Cast down every imagination and every high thought that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God as you pray under each topic – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (See prayer guide in email)
  4. Arrest all those faulty imaginations and high thoughts and demand that they obey Christ by using the weapons of the Holy Spirit’s anointing – Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation, Word of God – which is all summed up in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach.

Offer Praises and Thanksgiving to the LORD

  1. Offer a sacrifice of Praise and Thanksgiving to God for His marvelous deeds in 2018 under each main theme
  2. Share your testimonies to His glory and revelations for the benefit of the group.

 

Guide to Prayer Points for January 2018

Use this section as a guide to the prayer points on each topic of prayer. For example, when praying for the peace of Jerusalem use the suggested requests under Relationships, Restoration, Leadership and Communities and pray them out under each topic. The topics are mostly the numbered items under the 2018 Fasting and Prayer Program. There are about 40 items of prayer which means you can pray on one broad topic per day. This is only a guide, please, allow the Holy Spirit to be your Supreme Guide

Main Scriptural Reference:

II Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Other Scriptures:

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Psalm 14: 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Ephesians 6:12-13 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Restoration

  1. Under each topic pray that God will restore the people, communities, institutions, systems, ideas and country back to Himself. Repent on their behalf, confess their sins as your sins, humble yourself on their behalf and ask God to fulfill His promise of forgiveness, healing and restoration of their land and estate.
  2. Ask God to restore them back to His kingdom of power, love, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  3. Ask God to restore His image in them and enable them to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it as was His purpose in creation. Ask God to empower them to have dominion over everything that is in the sea, in the air and on the earth – spirit or material – as was His purpose in creation.

Relationships

  1. Under each topic pray that God will reveal Himself through the Holy Spirit to establish loving relationships with the people, communities, institutions, systems, ideas and country through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
  2. Pray that God will enable them to love Him back, to humble themselves, to pray, to seek His face and turn from their wicked ways to serve the LORD.
  3. Pray that they will love the Lord with all their heart, mind, strength, soul and spirit, and seek to please him by faith while persevering in hope
  4. Pray that they will love their neighbors and use their talent and resources to help others who are in need.

Leadership

  1. Under each topic pray that God will develop each person, community, institution, system, country or idea into servant leaders with the spirit of Christ, cultivating the fruit of the Spirit, pursuing holy lives and peace with all people. Genesis 1: 28, Mark 9:35
  2. Pray that God will help them desire and discover their spiritual gifts and use them to help others find healing, peace, and purpose in their lives. I Corinthians 12, 13, 14 & Ephesians 4

Communities

  1. Pray that God will revive the churches in each people-group, community, country and denomination to pursue the true purpose of God for their communities.
  2. Pray that believers will not only focus on their own needs and blessing, but on the needs and blessings of others -willing to deny themselves the pleasures of this world and become disciples of Christ – who are dedicated to growing spiritually and mentoring others to become like Christ.
  3. Pray that God will raise up believers (like in Psalm 15) who live blameless and holy lives committed to making disciples that make other disciples until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of the LORD as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20

 

Foot Note:

Spiritual Warfare

  1. On the day of your spiritual warfare prayer, take each section above and pray against any negative force, or power, or spiritual wickedness, or system, or principality, or spiritual rulers, or demons, or witchcraft, or Satan himself  that is working against the people, or community, or institution, or country, or idea, to thwart the purpose and will of God for them, bind and cast them out and place them under the feet of Jesus
  2. Put on by faith the weapons of your warfare by confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that:
    1. You love and speak the truth who is Jesus
    2. You are clothed with God’s righteousness  (confessing and forsaking any known and unknown sin to Christ, pleading his blood)
    3. You are ready to share the gospel of Christ with others
    4. You are crucified with Christ and you only live by the faith that is in Christ in you,
    5. You nullify by that faith any negative thought or idea that may come to you as you pray under each guide above
    6. You have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in your heart that God raised him from the dead, therefore you know that you are saved.
    7. You have the word of God in your mouth and in your heart to  slay any negative thought or idea or evil, or works of the devil
    8. You are praying in the Spirit, listening to God in quietness and solitude, persisting in prayer and supplicating for all believers welfare
    9. Pray for each person on this list that each of us will be given the utterance, to boldly make known the mystery of the gospel

Praise and Thanksgiving

  1. Praise God on each guide that He is great and awesome God and that none of these requests are impossible to Him, none of them can be compared to Him, none of them can contend with Him, none of them can resist His will, He is the Omnipotent God, He is the Almighty God, He is the El-Shadai, Adonai, the giver of life, the Creator of all things, He alone is God and He alone deserves our praise. All the Glory, Honor, Power, Knowledge, Wisdom, Love, Grace and Splendor belongs to Him
  2. Thank God for each request believing and claiming that He has already answered them. Thank him for victory, Thank Him for restoration, thank him for relationships, thank him for power and authority to lead and rule and to dominate all things and thank him for the transformed communities of faith, hope and love.

 

Report on 2017 Prayer Points

Some revelations during our prayer and quiet times with the Lord include:

  • God already won the battle for N.E. Philadelphia, we only have to praise him continuously
  • God himself is our partner in ministry and we should consult Him on any business matter
  • God is committed to answering every prayer we make for this ministry
  • This ministry will be developing leaders in church planting ministries
  • God’s strategy for reaching all nations in our generation with the gospel must begin in Jerusalem (literal as in Acts 1:8) with a priority to Jewish evangelism (Romans 1:16) – I have done some research on this and found very interesting confirmations. I am still praying on this and researching for clarity
  • Perform prayer walks in the community praying for spiritual hunger
  • Go to the mountains to seek my face – this is a revelation I do not yet totally understand. Right now, I take it to mean – get away from the clutter of noise and the busy-ness of life and spend quality time in solitude praying, focusing, meditating and waiting on the Lord. Sometimes, I try to also take trips outside the city to pray.

Milestones accomplished during the year

  1. Vision statement almost complete. Hope to finalize by end of March 2018
  2. Shared gospel with about eleven in July 2017
  3. Three people shown interest in ministry.
  4. Participated in community meetings and made some contacts in developing relationships
  5. Acquired School Van intended to provide services to youth programs in the community
  6. Setup a temporary place at home for bible study and prayers for community members

Challenges for 2018

  1. Fasting and prayer for directions and manifestation of God’s glory and praise
  2. Completing cultivate coaching plan
  3. Continue courses in Christian ministry
  4. Develop relationships with Messianic Jews in the community
  5. Developing intentional relationships with multi-ethnic individuals or groups in the community
  6. Providing community service in partnership with a community service agency – use of van to help youth activities
  7. Throw lunch and dinner parties to reach out to neighbors
  8. Begin bible study and prayer ministry at home
  9. Introduce Alpha program to community
  10. Meet with local Church leaders to learn from them
  11. Complete Strategic Plan for new church plant
  12. Recruit core team for church launch project planning and fund raising

2018 Fasting and Prayer Program

Offer Thanks to God for the Past, Present and Future

  1. We started this prayer team in March 2017 with an appeal to all friends and family to join us in partnering with us in prayer to start a church planting ministry.
  2. I was down with some physical upsets for a couple months which affected our progress. However, thank God, I am back up and have made some progress through your prayers. Please, join us to thank God for the progress made so far. Check your email for the 2017 Prayer Report link

Pray for the Restoration of Jewish People back to God and to accept Yeshua as their HaMashiach

  1. Pray for peace, prosperity, and salvation of the people and city of Jerusalem
  2. Pray for the salvation of the Jewish people and Israel as a nation (14 million)
  3. Pray for Jewish Christians and Messianic congregations everywhere to be strong in the Lord and bold in proclaiming the gospel in Jerusalem, Israel and the world.
  4. Pray for the unity of the church – Jews and Gentiles

Pray for the Countries of the World for Revival, Church Multiplication and Salvation of Souls

  1. 54 countries are in Africa
  2. 48 in Asia
  3. 44 in Europe
  4. 33 in Latin America and the Caribbean
  5. 14 in Oceania
  6. 2 in Northern America

Check your email for the link to the Unreached Peoples page. Pray for each country with established churches mentioning each country by name. Those countries are marked with “N” under unreached – about 158. Pray for revival in those countries and that churches will be holy, loving and producing disciples who plant churches in a multiplying effect.

Pray for the Salvation of the Unreached People-Groups of the World, that Missional Exponential Churches will be Planted Among Them

  1. About 2.91 billion people have little or no access to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  2. About 6,997 people groups (tribal nations) have not been reached with the gospel.

  1. Directions and manifestation of God’s glory and praise

  4. Develop relationships with Messianic Jews in the community
  5. Develop relationships with multi-ethnic individuals and groups in the community
  6. Identify and provide community services in the community
  7. Throw lunch and dinner parties to reach out to neighbors
  8. Begin bible study and prayer group with neighbors at home
  9. Introduce Alpha evangelistic program to community
  10. Meet with local Church leaders to learn from them

Pray for Each Other and Present Your Petitions to God

  2. Pray for the blessing and spiritual strengthening of the families of the members of this prayer team (See email for link to contactlist18.png towards bottom of page. For privacy only last names are listed)
  3. Pray for the poor, marginalized and oppressed people of this world and in Northeast Philly that they will hear the gospel, believe and be saved
  4. Pray for the sick, addicted, bound, imprisoned, cancerous, troubled, depressed, suicidal, mentally depressed, mentally challenged, sexually challenged, physically challenged, emotionally challenged, homeless, orphaned and broken marriages in the world, in your country and in Northeast Philly. Pray for their healing, peace with God, fellow human beings and find purpose in life.
  5. Pray for political leaders, church leaders, religious leaders, Jewish Rabbis, family heads, social, education and business leaders of the world, in your country and in Northeast Philly. Pray that all leaders will commit to ethical values, sound judgments, serve and lead with knowledge, truth, love and fear of God.

Pray A Spiritual Warfare Prayer

  1. Take dominion over all spiritual forces in the air, land and sea and bring them under the subjection of Jesus Christ – Genesis 1:28 (see prayer guide in email).
  2. Pull down all strongholds of the enemy – principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness as you pray under each topic – Ephesians 6:12-13 (See prayer guide in email)
  3. Cast down every imagination and every high thought that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God as you pray under each topic – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (See prayer guide in email)
  4. Arrest all those faulty imaginations and high thoughts and demand that they obey Christ by using the weapons of the Holy Spirit’s anointing – Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation, Word of God – which is all summed up in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach.

Offer Praises and Thanksgiving to the LORD

  1. Offer a sacrifice of Praise and Thanksgiving to God for His marvelous deeds in 2018 under each main theme
  2. Share your testimonies to His glory and revelations for the benefit of the group.
