This is your year of Divine Presence and Double Honors

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!² Let us come into his Presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! ³ For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. ⁴ In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. ⁵ The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. ⁶ Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! ⁷ For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. (Derek Prince expounded Psalm 95 to explain how to enter the presence of God. He said God requires that we bring Him gifts whenever we come into his presence, material and spiritual, but most importantly the spiritual gifts of thanksgiving, praise, and worship. Thanksgiving relates to God’s goodness; praise relates to His greatness and worship relates to His holiness! Without thanksgiving we cannot have access to His gates, without praise we cannot enter his courts and without worship – an attitude of humility, bowing, kneeling, quietness, and listening – we cannot hear His voice which is His presence)

ONE

PRAYER AGAINST RELIGIOUS CONSPIRACIES

Read Matthew 26:1-4

Pray the prayer of Acts 4:24-31 on religious conspiracies to harm the church. Pray that the Lord will consider the threat of religious deceit and plans to destroy the church and vindicate her. Pray that He will enable his true servants to preach his word with great boldness. Pray that He will stretch forth his hand to heal, save, and perform wonders through the name of Yeshua.

Pray for the deliverance and salvation of all religions (there are an estimated 10,000 religions in the world. The twelve major ones are Christendom, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism, Judaism, Confucianism, Baha’i, Shinto, Jainism, and Zoroastrianism). Pray for these by name.

TWO

PRAYER AGAINST DESTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS, ENVY, GREED AND ALL WICKEDNESS

Read Matthew 26:6-16

Pray that God will remove judging people, unconstructive criticisms, jealousy, envy, and greediness out of the heart of believers and plant a heart of flesh that will obey his word. Pray that God will grant all men and women the generous heart of giving and sharing their resources for the kingdom of God to advance on earth. Pray that God will prosper all believers who give their best for the sake of the gospel.

PRAYER FOR CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION

Read Matthew 26:17-25

Pray for the Holy Spirit to transform the present-day postmodern culture of pluralism, secularism, relativism, and post-Christendom.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will restore the blessing on the sacraments of the Church – Water baptism and the Lord’s supper that it will bring life, healing and blessing to all believers who partake and discipline to those who participate unworthily. Pray for unity in the body, pray against carnality, competition, and power-seeking in the church.
